-The thing to know is the system switch is a latching relay.  It will be reset (disabled state) due to power outage or if it overheats.  This will make the green LED on front go out.  First, confirm there is oil in the sight window.  If the oil is low, do not attempt to restart just red tag.  Low oil is the primary cause of overheating, but only occurs due to another system problem, most likely a clog in the oil scavenger which cannot be remedied even by refilling.
