Asmbly would not be capable of offering quality shop areas without the guidance and leadership of volunteers who have expertise and/or passion in each area. To empower these individuals to the fullest and reward them for their contributions, we have a Shop Area Leads Program.

		+	Shop Area Leads are a vital part of the Leadership Team at Asmbly. They are a driving force in progress and improvements made to individual shops. As such, they have several responsibilities in the space.

		+	* Help develop and maintain maintenance logs and service schedules
		+	* Ensure necessary equipment and supplies are ordered
		+	* Develop and maintain budget with assistance of the Facilities Coordinator
		+	* Report issues within their shop area to the Facilities Coordinator
		+	* Ensure proper signage is on equipment and in designated shop area
		+	* Update Wiki as needed for equipment in designated shop area
		+	* Monitor Slack communications and subscribe to Discourse Category for their shop area
		+	* Assist members with questions and problems both in person and through monitoring appropriate area in Discourse
		+	* Provide input on work day tasks for designated shop area at least 2 weeks in advance of scheduled work days in order to provide the time for ordering necessary materials
