The Logan 450 mat cutter is kept in the textiles area near the printer station. It has straight and bevel blade holders that slide on an aluminum straightedge. It's like a razorblade track saw.
It definitely works better when sharp. The blades are double-ended, so in the event of a dull blade first try flipping it over. If both ends are dull, we keep a pack of spares on the shelf over the printers.
