Dakota Hardwoods - South Austin, East Stassney Lane. Cabinetry focused chain of lumber stores. Hardwood and plywood. You cannot walk the warehouse, but they will bring an entire pallet out to you to pick through. Excellent for cabinet hardware and parts. You walk into the front office, place your order (it does not have to be a firm order, but at least the species or product you want to look at). They give you a preliminary order form. Drive around back to the loading ramp and park. Walk up the ramp and clip the paper to the board at the roll up door. A lift operator will pick it up and bring the pallet(s) out to you to pick through. Lift operator will change the order sheet depending on what you select.
