The Shaper Origin is a novel portable CNC tool that has been recently gifted to Asmbly. It will be made available for members to use once we've shaken the kinks out of the logistics and curriculum.

Storage

The Shaper Origin, Shaper Workstation, and extractor are in locked storage linked to your OpenPath ID. Only authorized users are able to unlock the Shaper Origin.

Consumables

In addition to router bits, you'll need to supply your own Shaper Tape, which you can Buy on Amazon or locally Buy at Rockler. You'll need around two rolls for every 3 4x8 sheets of plywood. The Workstation does not require Shaper Tape.

ShaperHub

Our Shaper Origin is linked to an Asmbly ShaperHub account.
