Asmbly is in the process of building a 4'x4' CNC gantry for Danny's 1000-Watt Coherent fiber laser. We expect the tool will be ready to use in Q3 2022.
The Fiber Laser uses a Ruida controller so the workflow will be familiar to users of the CO2 lasers, but with the ability to cut steel up to 1/4" thick.

On May 31st 2023 it was announced via discourse that the Fiber Laser project had been ended.
