1. Asmbly Facilities Map - Exit Paths (Summary)
The facility floor plan includes designated exit paths indicated by arrows pointing outward toward the exterior of the building.
Key entrances and exits identified on the map include:
- Main Entrance
- Ceramics Entrance
- Woodshop Entrance
- Back Entrance
The Rally Point for evacuation is located outside the building on the northwest side of the property, positioned toward Dessau Road.
2. Emergency Plan Summary
The emergency action plan outlines procedures for responding to accidents or incidents within the makerspace:
I. Call 911 When calling 911, individuals should state they are calling from Asmbly Makerspace at 9701 Dessau Rd Ste 304 and describe the accident. If possible, someone should be designated to make the call while another individual stays with the injured person. It is recommended to have someone wait for the ambulance by the curb to guide first responders.
II. Notify Asmbly Staff Staff should be notified using the #stewards channel in Slack or by emailing emergency@asmbly.org. The notification should include the 5 W's: Who (is affected), Where (did the incident happen), When (did the incident happen), What (happened/current state), and Why (relevant information).
III. Emergency Supply Locations Locations for common emergency resources are noted:
- Ice: MPR Freezer
- Plastic Bags: MPR Supply Closet
- Bleach: Under Coffee Station
- Cleaning Supplies: Under Coffee Station
3. Waiver Addendum: Emergency Procedures Quick Guide
Asmbly Makerspace: Critical Emergency Information This guide summarizes essential safety procedures required for all members.

| Emergency Exits | All standard doors leading to the outside of the building can be used as Exit Paths. Ensure fire doors are operational and unblocked, as the Facilities staff is tasked with ensuring this. |
| Rally Point | Upon evacuation, proceed immediately to the designated Rally Point located on the northwest side of the building (towards Dessau Road). |
| First Aid | Emergency information, including specific injury response protocols, is posted at each first aid kit location. These kits are located in the Metal shop, Woodshop, Lasers shop, and Ceramic shop. |
| Immediate Action (Accident) | Call 911 immediately. If possible, designate a specific person to make the 911 call and give the full address: 9701 Dessau Rd Ste 304. |
| First Responder Guidance | After calling 911, establish someone to wait by the Dessau Road entrance (the curb) to ensure first responders find the building complex easily. |
| Evacuation Conduct | In the event of an evacuation emergency, prioritize personal safety. Once safe, reasonably attempt to ensure the building is evacuated. |
