Intro to CNC Routers Class

The Beginner CNC Routers class is a two-part course in the use of our Laguna CNC routers.

Syllabus

Day 1 (Online)

  • Introduction to the CNC Router and use of Vcarve for basic designs.
  • Lessons on bits to use, materials and speeds, and layout on the Machine.

Day 2 (In-Person)

  • setting up the machine
  • saving g-code and running the machine

Completion of Part I is a prerequisite for taking Part II.

Requirements

You must wear eye protection while using a CNC router. Please remember to bring a notepad or another way that you can take notes during the class.
