The Polyprinter 229 is fast, reliable and straightforward to use. 4mm nozzle, 9"x9"x9" (229mm) volume.
Members must complete the 3D Printing Class before using this tool
Critical Info!
- Do NOT use metal tools on the Bed
- Avoid touching the plate with your fingers. Skin oil can affect performances.
- Only use Polyprinter brand filament reels

Maintenance
This tool is owned by Asmbly Makerspace for the use of its members. Please contact the workshop committee if maintenance is required.
Asmbly has a growing fleet of FDM and SLA printers, with two more FDM printers slated to arrive soon including a Prusa XL with 5 toolheads to allow for printing up to 12" square with 5 different filaments.
New 3DP policies effective 10/26/2023:
- Skedda hours booked in the 3DP categories will not count against your 25 hr/wk allotment
- Users should now book the entire print time on Skedda, instead of setup time only
- Users may not utilize more than 2 printers simultaneously
