Ceramics Safety and Information (CSI) Class

This free 2-hour orientation and safety class introduces the Ceramics studio: its policies, layout, equipment and etiquette. It is required before using the ceramics space as a Ceramics member, and you don't need an Asmbly or Ceramics membership to take it. It covers the wheels, extruder, slab roller, sinks, glazing tools, kiln shelves and shared community tools, plus shared cleaning responsibilities and how Ceramics memberships work.

It is separate from the Asmbly member orientation and the Glazing Workshop (required before firing glazed pieces).

This is an active class at Asmbly. If you can't find an upcoming session in the Class Schedule, please use the "Request this Class" form under the class description to let us know. We will schedule a session once we have enough interest.
