Sweet 16 Lathe
Asmbly has one Robust Sweet 16 long bed variable-speed wood lathe that we have fondly named "Snuffleupagus".
Swing: 8" standard or 16" with front bed section removed. Spindle Supports: 36" standard or 50" with the front bed section moved to the end.
In other words this supports bowls and platters as large as 32" at roughly 10.5" deep at the widest portion or up to a 8" wide and 50" long spindle.
Members must complete the Intro to the Wood Lathe Class before using this tool

Troubleshooting
Lathe won’t show power or won’t start.
Trouble separating the thread adapter from the faceplate.
There’s a rubber-gripper (green handle, black rubber loop) that can be used to grip the bowl itself. If unable to get this off by hand at this point, you can use an adjustable wrench to grab the adapter. There should also be pins in the side of the faceplate threads that can be tightened once the adapter is on, preventing it from advancing further. This can be used to prevent this problem.
