Why Can't I Edit This Wiki?

All members of the Asmbly community should be able to edit most pages on this wiki, but maybe some of our automation is having trouble.

1. Do you have a Discourse account https://yo.asmbly.org ? Can you log in there successfully?
2. Make sure the email used on Discourse matches the email in your Neon account https://asmbly.app.neoncrm.com/login
3. If you log in there, does your name show up in the upper left corner of this page? Or does it say Anonymous?
   1. ...even after a reload?
   2. If you clear cookies for asmbly.org and log in to yo again, does it help?
   3. If it still says Anonymous, contact it@asmbly.org
4. Ok, you're logged in to the wiki, but do you see "Edit", "Edit Source", and "History" in the upper right under the page title? Or does it say "View Source"
   1. If it says "View Source", is the page you're trying to edit a Category page (eg. Tools)? You "edit" Categories pages by adding/removing the appropriate tag to the page you want to include/remove.
   2. If it says "View Source, is the a page Policy page (eg. Access Policies)? Only certain staff are allowed to edit Policy pages. If you think you need to change a policy, contact a staff member or shop lead.
   3. If it's a normal page, contact it@asmbly.org
5. Do you see the "Edit" and "Edit Source" links, but they don't work?
   1. We used to have problems with this, but they should be fixed since we upgraded the wiki, so contact it@asmbly.org
