Asmbly has one Laguna Revo 18|36 variable-speed wood lathe that we have fondly named "Big Bird". The first number in the name represents the "swing" or largest diameter your workpiece can be, while the second number represents the distance between centers or maximum length your workpiece can be. In other words, Big Bird can accommodate 18" wide by 36" long stock material.

Troubleshooting

Lathe won’t show power or won’t start.

Check out this Discourse thread with troubleshooting information.

Trouble separating the thread adapter from the faceplate.

There’s a rubber-gripper (green handle, black rubber loop) that can be used to grip the bowl itself. If unable to get this off by hand at this point, you can use an adjustable wrench to grab the adapter. There should also be pins in the side of the faceplate threads that can be tightened once the adapter is on, preventing it from advancing further. This can be used to prevent this problem.
